Spell Design I. The title of the spellII. The goal of the spell. This is not "just to get Johnny to love me" this is an intensive essay of at least two paragraphs explaining how Johnny will love you, for how long, how often it needs to be renewed, etc. III. Everything necessary to cast the spell, maintain it for the duration of the goal time. IV. Start researching what you need and write it down. This MUST include: the deity with which you are working (a general "Lord & Lady" doesn't cut it, specifics such as Frey & Freya) and why you are asking this deity for assistance; day of the week and phase of the moon best for casting this spell and tools necessary. It may ALSO include research on herbs, props, etc necessary for doing this spell. V. Write down all the good things you think will happen if you cast this spell. Laundry list it: I'll be popular, I'll be loved, etc. VI. Write down all the bad things you think will happen if you cast this spell. Laundry list it: If I don't like him anymore I'll be stuck with him, I'll always know he's with me because I manipulated him not because he loves me... Be brutally honest on both of those steps. If you can't see a down side to your spell work (and I'm not just talking love spells here) then you have no business casting spells. VII. Write down all the good things if you DON'T cast this spell VIII. Write down all the bad things if you DON'T cast this spell. Again, be brutally honest on the above two steps as well. IX. Evaluate your four lists and rework your intent and purpose. If you decide to go forward, then refine, hone and temper...that's the way it works. X. The OUTLINE of the spell. So it would look something like this: List of tools XI. Are you still up for doing this spell? OK, then start writing it. Fill in the outline and check out some of the basic steps for writing a spell because something as personal as a love spell should not be taken from a book or anyone else, it needs to be taken from the heart. XII. Go through the first draft of your spell, clean it up for grammar, rhythm, chanting, etc. Write it nicely on plain piece of paper so you can read it when you're doing your working. XIII. Ask yourself, if someone cast this spell you just wrote on you and you found out, how would you react/feel? If after doing all the work (and yes, it is work), research, etc. you can't answer with a positive, euphoric, unequivocal, resounding YES then you have been taught a lesson by your deity and learn from it. Put the spell away and when the time is right, your deity will let you know when to cast it.
Understand that I do not know where the majority of the information I have came from. They all reach me from a variety of sources. If you recognize something as your own feel free to email me at: mailto:JisanFoxfire@excite.com
